are there any free website hosts where you choose your own domain name?
I was wondering, so i could host my site that i built in my ART288 webdesign class.

There are no free domain names. However, many free Web hosts will allow you to use your own domain name with their servers, and most registrars, such as GoDaddy, will allow you to forward a domain name to a specific URL.

Free web hosts give you subdomain names on their domain name. About the only free domain name (and you can direct it at your free site) is http://www.dot.tk/ The name will be in the tk top level domain.
