What should i know before buying a domain name?
Can i just casually buy a domain name and try and create a forum and if it doesn\’t work just sell the domain name? After one year, what if i don\’t pay the fee for my domain name will they just take it away? Am i assuming any risk by buying a domain name?

see the domain name is a name of ur site ..
u can auction the domain name but the chances of sale are less.
if you do not pay the fees for the 2nd year then your domain name can be bought by anyone else who pays the fees.
there is no risk in buying domain name

If it’s a really good domain name someone might offer to buy it from you.
After the initial term of the registration is expired, whatever that term is (at least a year), you can just not pay to renew it and it will become available for anyone to purchase.
You’re not likely to run into any risk from buying a domain name unless you are obviously using an established brand name as part of it. Like, I wouldn’t go buying something like “nascardrivers.com,” but “iamaterribledriver.com” is probably fine.
Whatever you do, don’t spend more than ten bucks a year on your registration, and make sure you’re dealing with a reputable registrar and not a scammer who will take your money and then register your domain name under his own name so he owns it.
Anyone charging you more than ten dollars a year for registration is totally ripping you off.

According to my experience the domain name I bought was telelievision but I failed to sell it at godaddy because I didn’t received any visitors. The primary key to selling your domain name is to have what people are looking for. Most of the good web titles have been already been claimed for the taken. The place where domain names sells the cheapest is at justhost.com to be exact. Justhost also hosts websites and hosting is needed because it prevents hackers. A large Machine is hosting your site away in a remote location. I advise you to create an affiliate website, it’s much more better than a forum. Yes, your domain name will be temporarily disabled if the fee is left unpaid.
