In all honesty, it is pretty difficult to make much (let alone enough) money from reselling domains. I guess it is a bit like Wall Street but more difficult. You’re not picking stocks, instead predicting what domains people will want to sell them for a hefty profit.
My advice: don’t quit your job to start up domain reselling. Domains are already pretty cheap and the market is stuffed with competition. If someone already owns a domain someone wants, usually that person will select an alternative.
Buy a new one now and then and you might earn yourself a small fortune… …if it pays off.

Way too much competition. the amount of effort involved is not really worth the money.
How about a real investment that pays off within weeks? you don’t have to do much work, you just get 6 or 7 people that you know and you will get a check every couple of months for maybe $500 and a year later, it may be $30,000, but ultimately it’s a jackpot of $2,000,000 .
