Question by : I own domain name Undiscovered planet.com and the Lonely Planet is saying that I am infringing their rights?
How come and since when LP owns or has any rights or trademarks for my domain undiscovered planet.com? They are also bothering me in regards to my another domain lonely tourist.com. While the lonely tourist.com might have some similar word with LP I dont quite understand why they are saying that Undiscovered planet also belongs to them?
It looks like all these corporations just want to own everything!

Here is what they say now:
In one case, the domain name ‘Undiscoveredplanet.com’ is offered for sale. Undiscovered planet is the name of a marketing exercise run by and for Lonely Planet via Facebook in 2010.

I dont see any undiscovered planets owned by Lonely planet on FB, do you? Or anywhere on Google search?
If they will haras me i will sue them, I already contacted the trademark lawyers. And I sure wont give them this domain, unless I decide to sell it which will be 20 million dollars.

Does anyone know how I can get the contact information of a private domain registration? Specifically, I am referring to domains registered through Network Solutions. I am trying to reach the owner of the domain, but the email address provided on the whois, which is supposed to forward the email to the owner keeps bouncing the email back to me as undeliverable. Postal mail gets no reply either. Anyone have another solution? I called Network Solutions and they were no help. Is there any legal request I can make or something I can say to get the contact info out of Network Solutions? Please advise. Thanks.

You can go before a judge and try to get a subpoena. Yes, it’s possible for a private individual to get one: I saw such a situation in a case on The People’s Court the other day, where the plaintiff took out a subpoena to get information about the defendant. You’ll probably have to make a good case to the judge, though.

If you changed your old email address, that doesn’t mean that you have to delete your entire myspace profile. What you can do is go in under settings and update your email address. Good luck!

You need to create transfer secret ( after unlocking the domain ) from domain.com and then transfer your domain name on godaddy using it. If you are unable to do it then contact domain.com support to get transfer secret and contact godaddy support for transfer.

Should my blog have a different domain name from the product websites or should I choose to post the blog on the same one?
