how do i avoid being mislead into thinking i register a private domain name,again?

google mislead me into thinking i was registering a private domain name. instead i paid $10.00 for an http://www.google/a/blablabladomainname.com thing which is just what i was trying to avoid. please only reply if you can really help get my domain name.

i want it to be http://www.(mydomainname).com and that\’s all.
no yahoo no google etc…

  1. Go to godaddy.com or another REAL hosting site. It’ll be $10/month or more depending on traffic, not $10 once.

  2. You did get a domain name from them, but you need to set everything up now.

    Here’s how: http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?answer=99448&topic=14075

    Then you’ll have http://www.yourdomainname.com

    You can even set up mail.yourdomainname.com to point to your Google mail for domains (basically a gmail account but with your own domain name instead of gmail.com for example instead of you@gmail.com you can create (up to a 100 accounts for free) you@yourdomainname.com someoneelse@yourdomainname.com
